about egg advisor

Driving clarity in fertility management

We believe every person deserves honest, science-backed information about their fertility — without having to navigate clinics, costs, or confusion alone.

Established by women who care about their eggs

Egg Advisor started with a deeply personal experience. Seven years ago, in the middle of a divorce, Alexandra Draycott froze her eggs aged 34. Whilst having eggs "on ice" offered emotional reassurance, she wondered in the years that followed why so little aftercare was provided — and simply did not know where to turn next.

Since realising that hundreds of women felt equally unsure about pathways around egg freezing, Alexandra used her 20 years' experience leading strategy and innovation to build something that might help others in a similar position. Spun out of Cambridge University's SPARK 1.0 incubator, Egg Advisor is now pioneering a new category in women's health: oocyte portfolio management.

Today, Egg Advisor addresses the crucial service and information gaps that exist before and after egg collection — serving women across the UK and UAE, with broader international expansion underway.

Compassionate care, beyond traditional boundaries

Fertility decisions are deeply personal. We meet women where they are — emotionally and practically — with guidance that doesn't judge the path they choose.

3

Tech-driven solutions, informed choices

Our tools translate the latest reproductive science into personalised insights — giving women data-backed clarity in minutes, not months of appointments.

4

Supporting you on your journey, every step

From your first question about egg health to deciding whether to use, donate, or thaw — we're here at every stage with the guidance you need.

The fertility industry has a transparency problem

Clinics compete on marketing — not outcomes. Cost is treated as a secret. Some of the most important decisions a person may ever make have no reliable, independent guide. We're here to change that — one tool, one article, one honest conversation at a time.

Understanding where you are

Egg freezing is often life-altering. Without independently explaining outcomes, age-related success rates, and costs, women deserve far more than a sales pitch. At Egg Advisor, we provide independent, evidence-based guidance — your decisions are yours, not ours to make.

Cost of egg freezing is expensive

A single egg freezing cycle in the UK costs between £3,275 and £5,600, plus annual storage fees. But that's rarely explained upfront. We break down the costs at every stage — clinic pricing, medication, storage — so there are no hidden surprises.

Pathways for donation are not clear

If you decide not to use your frozen eggs, the options — donation to another person, research, or disposal — are not straightforward. Egg Advisor maps all pathways clearly so you have the full picture and the right support — whatever you decide.
